Choose the ideal style and colour for your specific needs!<\/h2>\n<p>When choosing <strong>swimming goggles<\/strong>, remember that lenses are extremely important for maximum visibility in the water. The choice of <strong>lenses for your goggles<\/strong> is initially a question of personal preference, but here are some useful tips if you do not know which to choose.<\/p>\n<h3>Which goggles should I choose for outdoor swimming?<\/h3>\n<p>If you swim outdoors, particularly in open water, you should choose<strong> goggles with mirror lenses<\/strong> that <strong>reflect light and minimise the amount of light<\/strong> getting in your eyes.<\/p>\n<p>Mirror lenses for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.arenasport.com\/en_uk\/women\/equipment\/swim-goggles.html\"><strong>arena goggles<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0come in various colours.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arenasport.com\/en_row\/002507-cobra-ultra-swipe-mirror-goggles.html#280=52916\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-99473\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.arenaswim.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/002507_999.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"100%\" height=\"100%\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.arenaswim.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/002507_999.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blog.arenaswim.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/002507_999-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.arenaswim.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/002507_999-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>DARK LENSES<\/strong>: if the sun is extremely strong or bright, our advice is to choose <strong>dark-coloured mirror lenses<\/strong>, for example \u201cblue\u201d or \u201csilver\u201d, which will prevent any reverberation effect and keep the sun out of your eyes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>CLEAR LENSES<\/strong>: choose clear-coloured mirror lenses, for example a \u201ccopper\u201d colour, for cloudy days when the sun is not so bright or when swimming early in the morning or late in the afternoon. On the contrary, your eyes will be partly visible through goggles if you are wearing clear mirror lenses!<\/p>\n<p>If you swim outdoors but prefer to use <strong>non-reflective lenses<\/strong>, we suggest opting for <strong>dark-coloured lenses<\/strong>, such as \u201csmoke\u201d or \u201cdark smoke\u201d, perfect for optimum visibility even when the light is bright.<\/p>\n<h3>Which goggles should I choose for swimming indoors?<\/h3>\n<p>If you swim in an indoor pool,<strong> non-reflective lenses <\/strong>are usually the most popular choice. Once again, colour makes the difference.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>CLEAR LENSES<\/strong>: if the pool is not very well lit and light is dim, opt for clear lenses, such as transparent, pink or blue lenses.
