Pilates desarroll\u00f3 este m\u00e9todo a base de la inspiraci\u00f3n en las pr\u00e1cticas antiguas orientales, controlando los m\u00fasculos con la mente. Este m\u00e9todo consiste principalmente en ejercicios que aspiran a fortalecer la fuerza motriz, en otras palabras, todos los m\u00fasculos alrededor de tu \u00e1rea abdominal (probablemente hayas o\u00eddo hablar de la expresi\u00f3n ESTABILIDAD CENTRAL).<\/p>\n<p>Pilates est\u00e1 basado en 6 principios que corresponden a los beneficios derivados por la pr\u00e1ctica regular de este m\u00e9todo.<\/p>\n<p>No puedes realizar ejercicios sin pensar. La CONCENTRACI\u00d3N juega un papel clave en cualquier ejercicio y no puedes realizar movimientos mientras est\u00e1s pensando en otra cosa. El CONTROL del cuerpo est\u00e1 vinculado a la concentraci\u00f3n. Realizar movimientos sin controlar tu cuerpo en su totalidad puede causar lesiones. Todos y cada uno de los movimientos deben pensados cuidadosamente, con precisi\u00f3n y objetividad. Sin PRECISI\u00d3N, podr\u00edas obtener los mismos resultados pero malgastaras mucha energ\u00eda. La concentraci\u00f3n, el control y la precisi\u00f3n conllevar\u00e1n todas ellas a la FLUIDEZ a la hora de realizar cualquier movimiento. La fortaleza de tu BARICENTRO o fuerza motriz es la base de todos los movimientos, y como ya hemos mencionado anteriormente, esto significa estabilidad central. Y por \u00faltimo, una RESPIRACI\u00d3N adecuada mientras se hacen ejercicios que te permitir\u00e1 rendir al m\u00e1ximo.<\/p>\n<p>Estos principios pueden aplicarse directamente a la nataci\u00f3n tanto para el entrenamiento como para las carreras. Los movimientos de tus brazos y piernas deben ser suaves y econ\u00f3micos, buscando la concentraci\u00f3n-control-precisi\u00f3n-fluidez. Todo en el agua comienza en tu baricentro, que te permite mantener la posici\u00f3n correcta. Sin ello no podr\u00e1s generar la fuerza a trav\u00e9s de tus manos y tus pies. Tampoco necesitamos poner un especial \u00e9nfasis a lo importante que es la respiraci\u00f3n para la nataci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Presentamos 3 ejercicios que son ideales para los nadadores:<\/p>\n<p><strong>ESTIRAMENTO INDIVIDUAL DE PIERNAS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tumbado sobre tu espalda, eleva la cabeza hacia el pecho. Utiliza tu mano izquierda para elevar tu rodilla derecha hacia ti a la vez que sujetas el tobillo con la mano derecha y extiendes tu pierna izquierda en un \u00e1ngulo de 45\u00ba. Empieza a cambiar la posici\u00f3n de los brazos y las piernas mientras respirar inhalando cada dos movimientos y expires en otros dos movimientos. Realiza un total de 20 repeticiones. Aprieta los gl\u00fateos y extiende tu regi\u00f3n lumbar. Respira y dobla la pierna manteniendo el pie flexionado 45\u00ba, repetir dos veces, y despu\u00e9s expirar y mover las piernas juntas de nuevo. Repetir dos veces con la otra pierna. Esta vez realiza 20 repeticiones. Eleva un brazo y la pierna opuesta a la vez con la cabeza y el pecho. Ahora cambia las posiciones de los brazos y piernas a una velocidad estable en un movimiento controlado que parezca como un nadador en la piscina. Repetir durante el tiempo que lleva 5 respiraciones f\u00e1ciles. Hacer una pausa, estirar la espalda y luego volver a repetir \u00be conjuntos.
