L&rsquo;id\u00e9e de participer \u00e0 des comp\u00e9titions a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 un grand stimulant et une bonne raison de s&rsquo;entra\u00eener r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement, presque comme s&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agissait d&rsquo;une sorte de m\u00e9dicament qui m&rsquo;aiderait \u00e0 donner le meilleur de moi-m\u00eame un jour pr\u00e9cis. N\u00e9anmoins, je ne peux pas compter le nombre de fois o\u00f9 je me suis pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 \u00e0 une course en pensant : \u00ab\u00a0<em><strong>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que je fais ici ?<\/strong><\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>Je pense que beaucoup de pens\u00e9es traversent l&rsquo;esprit des nageurs de tous niveaux lorsqu&rsquo;ils s&rsquo;entra\u00eenent et lorsqu&rsquo;ils participent \u00e0 une course ; souvent, ce sont des <strong>pens\u00e9es n\u00e9gatives<\/strong> qui nous disent que nous ne progressons pas, que notre technique dans un certain type de nage est m\u00e9diocre et que <strong>nous ne sommes pas au mieux de notre forme<\/strong>. Dans ces moments-l\u00e0, notre \u00ab\u00a0<strong>mantra<\/strong>\u00a0\u00bb ou, en d&rsquo;autres termes, les pens\u00e9es r\u00e9p\u00e9titives qui guident nos actions, est n\u00e9gatif et \u00e9nergivore.<\/p>\n<p>Je pense aussi que <strong>la grande force d&rsquo;un sportif<\/strong> r\u00e9side dans sa capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9rer ces moments. Le psychologue du sport Piero Trabucchi l&rsquo;affirme : \u00ab\u00a0<em>Rester motiv\u00e9 est une discipline en soi, un exercice. Il faut \u00eatre plein de ressource. La motivation n&rsquo;est pas comparable au d\u00e9sir ; ou, en tout cas, elle n&rsquo;est pas seulement cela. C&rsquo;est aussi la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 g\u00e9rer l&rsquo;inconfort, \u00e0 le supporter<\/em>\u00ab\u00a0.<\/p>\n<p>C&rsquo;est pourquoi, chaque fois que nous demandons \u00e0 un champion quel est le secret, la r\u00e9ponse est directement ou indirectement li\u00e9e \u00e0 la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 de faire des sacrifices : <strong>nager tous les jours, se lever t\u00f4t le matin, supporter le stress physique<\/strong>, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il n&rsquo;existe pas de recette miracle<\/strong> pour aider tout le monde \u00e0 devenir un nageur plus fort mais, si nous voulons atteindre un certain objectif, notre mantra doit \u00eatre associ\u00e9 \u00e0 une <strong>pens\u00e9e positive<\/strong>, des mots nous rappelant que nous pouvons le faire, que nous avons les ressources pour r\u00e9ussir et nous am\u00e9liorer, et que l&rsquo;\u00e9chec et l&rsquo;abandon ne sont pas des options envisageables\u00a0!<\/p>\n<p>Ainsi, m\u00eame lorsque la n\u00e9gativit\u00e9 frappe \u00e0 notre porte, nous serons capables de la g\u00e9rer avec courage et discipline.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>J&rsquo;ai souvent particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des courses parce que j&rsquo;avais besoin d&rsquo;un nouvel objectif.
