Voici quelques choses \u00e0 garder \u00e0 l\u2019esprit avant de sauter aveugl\u00e9ment dans un lac ou un oc\u00e9an.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dans l\u2019id\u00e9e de faire un sport d\u2019ext\u00e9rieur la nuit, il y a quelque chose qui ajoute une touche de magie. Cela semble un peu exotique et surr\u00e9aliste lorsque l\u2019on fait du ski de fond \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re de la pleine lune ou du v\u00e9lo de montagne avec une lampe frontale.<\/p>\n<p>C\u2019est la m\u00eame chose en natation. Prendre un bain de minuit dans l\u2019oc\u00e9an semble \u00eatre un fantasme pour adolescents, mais l\u2019obscurit\u00e9 et le clapotis de l\u2019eau hypnotisant cr\u00e9ent une exp\u00e9rience inoubliable pour les nageurs de tout \u00e2ge.<\/p>\n<p>Se glisser dans l\u2019eau du lac ou de la mer par une chaude nuit d\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 vous fait vous sentir vivant : c\u2019est relaxant et revigorant en m\u00eame temps. Peut-\u00eatre est-ce le calme, en opposition avec la foule diurne, combin\u00e9 avec le soup\u00e7on de danger (ou le risque de d\u00e9couverte, si vous \u00eates nus !). Vous pouvez regarder les \u00e9toiles dans le ciel et les lumi\u00e8res scintillantes sur le rivage, et, si vous \u00eates chanceux, vous pourriez m\u00eame apercevoir un soup\u00e7on de bioluminescence en action.<\/p>\n<p>Nager de nuit est incroyable, mais ne vous perdez pas dans vos pens\u00e9es au point d\u2019en oublier le bon sens.<\/p>\n<p>Voici quelques conseils pour vous aider \u00e0 rendre l\u2019exp\u00e9rience positive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>N\u2019y allez pas seul.<\/strong>\u00a0Vous savez que vous n\u2019\u00eates pas cens\u00e9 nager seul, et cela vaut encore plus pour la natation en eau libre\u2026 et encore bien plus pour la natation en eau libre de nuit. Il y a toutes les chances que rien de dangereux ne se passe ; mais ne prenez pas de risques inutiles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Soyez inform\u00e9s.<\/strong>\u00a0Consultez les horaires des mar\u00e9es et posez des questions sur les courants inhabituels si vous n\u2019\u00eates pas familier avec la r\u00e9gion. Faites attention aux panneaux annonciateurs de dangers tels que les m\u00e9duses ou riptides.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Restez o\u00f9 vous avez pied.<\/strong>\u00a0Nagez parall\u00e8lement au rivage si vous le pouvez. Si vous faites des allers-retours, mesurez soigneusement vos efforts pour vous assurer que vous avez suffisamment d\u2019\u00e9nergie pour regagner la rive.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assurez-vous qu\u2019il y a suffisamment de lumi\u00e8re.<\/strong>\u00a0La lumi\u00e8re de la Lune peut \u00eatre assez brillante, mais l\u2019\u00e9clat des \u00e9toiles seul ne l\u2019est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement pas. Attention, car il ne faudrait pas vous retrouver dans le noir si un nuage cache soudainement la Lune. Les nageurs de marathons et les kayakistes utilisent toute une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 de lampes, feux stroboscopiques, b\u00e2tons lumineux et lumi\u00e8res LED pour voir et \u00eatre vu. Si vous avez l\u2019intention de nager tr\u00e8s loin, vous et vos compagnons devriez vous pencher sur ces options afin de pouvoir toujours voir la position des autres. (Notez, cependant, que selon l\u2019endroit o\u00f9 vous nagez, les lumi\u00e8res peuvent attirer des cr\u00e9atures aquatiques ind\u00e9sirables.) Si la rive est sombre, placez une lampe sur la plage, afin de marquer votre point d\u2019entr\u00e9e de sorte que vous ne perdiez pas vos affaires.<\/p>\n<p>Si vous \u00eates int\u00e9ress\u00e9(e) par l\u2019id\u00e9e de nager la nuit, mais que vous ne parvenez \u00e0 convaincre personne de venir avec vous, certains clubs offrent des baignades organis\u00e9es et guid\u00e9es, voire m\u00eame des curses de nuit.
