Mi ci \u00e8 voluta una settimana per abituarmi!<\/p>\n<p>E\u2019 stato un ambientamento lento, un totale di 370 km fra mare e piscina, con l\u2019acqua ad una temperatura media di 29 gradi. Anche in mare c\u2019erano fra i 25 e i 30 gradi! Questo non solo mi ha costretto ad affrontare quella strana sensazione di sfregamento all\u2019inguine e sotto le ascelle, problemi di idratazione e la necessit\u00e0 di rivedere i rifornimenti, ma ha portato naturalmente con s\u00e9 anche meduse, squali e dolori vari, ponendomi di fronte alle reali condizioni dell\u2019oceano, che in Inghilterra chiaramente non abbiamo modo di sperimentare. Fantastico! E\u2019 stato un allenamento incredibile, fra abuso di burro di arachidi, malesseri, dissenteria e per finire esseri invisibili che mi pungevano sul petto&#8230; In pratica ho perso pi\u00f9 o meno dieci chili (e non \u00e8 che ne avessi bisogno) e ho migliorato la resistenza\u00a0 e la capacit\u00e0 di adattare la velocit\u00e0, concludendo l\u2019ultima settimana con due ottime sessioni giornaliere da 16 km, percorrendo una distanza totale di 32 km al giorno. Eppure, nonostante mangiassi di pi\u00f9, pesavo decisamente meno!<\/p>\n<p>Fortunatamente il mio nutrizionista \u00e8 venuto in mio soccorso: gi\u00e0 a febbraio ero incappato nella terribile esperienza di sbagliare a bilanciare i rifornimenti ed avevo avuto bisogno d\u2019aiuto per uscire dalla vasca dopo cinque ore. In un mare cos\u00ec caldo tutto ci\u00f2 ha comportato mal di testa e il sopraggiungere dell\u2019affaticamento troppo presto.<\/p>\n<p>Ecco un esempio della mia dieta quotidiana da 7-8500 calorie (10-12000 nell\u2019Atlantico) durante una settimana di allenamenti a Key West :<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arenawaterinstinct.com\/it_it\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Ben-Menu.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-3207\" src=\"https:\/\/www.arenawaterinstinct.com\/it_it\/community\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/Ben-Menu-700x933.jpg\" alt=\"Ben Menu\" width=\"580\" height=\"773\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>COLAZIONE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3 uova sode, 2 porzioni di porridge con latte e zucchero, 1 petto di pollo, 4 fette di pane tostato con burro di arachidi, succo d\u2019arancia, caff\u00e8, yogurt, 1 litro d\u2019acqua<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPUNTINO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Barrette, patatine, 1 banana, yakult<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRANZO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pasta con pollo e manzo, broccoli, biscotti, 2 litri di fluidi<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPUNTINO<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pancakes con sciroppo, bistecca, piccoli snack + pur\u00e8 di patate<\/p>\n<p><strong>CENA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Patate dolci, pesce, broccoli, frutta, yogurt, frullato proteico al latte (35g\/500ml)<\/p>\n<p><strong>SPUNTINO SERALE<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pizza con patatine, frutta, nocciole, frullato proteico + succo d\u2019arancia, 500 ml di H2Pro sodium + vitamine<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019allenamento continua ad essere molto realistico, il lavoro \u00e8 duro e ci sono volte in cui mi dico \u201cnon posso farcela\u201d, ma poi penso a mia figlia, alle persone che mi supportano e alla mia squadra, ascolto un po\u2019 di musica\u2026non ho smesso di allenarmi duramente anche ora che sono tornato in Inghilterra, concentrandomi sulla velocit\u00e0 e sul volume con il lavoro in piscina: riesco a mantenere un tempo di 1:50-1:53 per 100m per oltre 16 km e a sostenere due sessioni al giorno sei giorni a settimana.<\/p>\n<p>Non si arriva a nulla senza impegnarsi a fondo: il calore dell\u2019acqua, gli allenamenti portati a termine con successo e gli incontri con gli squali non hanno fatto altro che accrescere il mio entusiasmo, facendomi dimenticare del dolore alle spalle, la pelle bruciata dal sole e dal sale e il gonfiore al viso e alla lingua causati dalla lunga permanenza in acqua salata ad elevate temperature.<\/p>\n<p>E\u2019 parecchio dura se si pensa che durante la nostra spedizione mi sono sottoposto ad oltre 90 ore di allenamento (pi\u00f9 di 120 km di nuoto a settimana), palestra e yoga.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/K2RuxGPxNwE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Per saperne di pi\u00f9: SWIM THE BIG BLUE: STORICA TRAVERSATA A NUOTO CON ARENA (<a href=\"http:\/\/arenawaterinstinct.pr.co\/100601-swim-the-big-blue-storica-traversata-a-nuoto-con-arena?reheat_cache=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">comunicato stampa<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.swimthebigblue.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.swimthebigblue.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.arenawaterinstinct.com\/it_it\/catalogsearch\/result\/?q=27912+25275+25108+25109\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Scopri i prodotti Arena\u00a0per il nuoto in acque libere!<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Allenamento a Key West Marzo 2015 A marzo i miei allenamenti si sono spostati dalla fredda Inghilterra verso i climi decisamente pi\u00f9 caldi di Key West.
