Nelle nostre giornate il tempo manca costantemente, viviamo di corsa e ci concediamo il lusso di riposarci a lungo soltanto prima di una gara o di un evento importante. Ma il sonno \u00e8 davvero essenziale e influisce in maniera sostanziale sulla nostra performance sportiva.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Capire di quante ore di sonno abbiamo bisogno \u00e8 davvero soggettivo e dipende da svariati fattori.<\/strong> Prima di tutto dal nostro metabolismo, poi dalle ore in cui siamo abituati a riposarci e da quelle in cui solitamente ci alleniamo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ma perch\u00e9 il sonno \u00e8 cos\u00ec importante per il nostro allenamento?<\/strong> Dormire ci aiuta a riprendere le forze, fornisce al corpo il tempo necessario per produrre l\u2019ormone della crescita utile a riparare i tessuti danneggiati e agevola il riposo della mente, elemento fondamentale per la concentrazione.<\/p>\n<p>Non tutti per\u00f2, abbiamo tempo sufficiente per compiere quest\u2019attivit\u00e0 fisiologica: dormiamo poco e male, ci ritroviamo agli allenamenti sfiniti ancora prima di iniziare e finiamo per crollare sul divano dopo il training creando un circolo vizioso di notti insonni o contraddistinte da un sonno poco profondo.<\/p>\n<p>Se schiacciare un pisolino prima o dopo l\u2019allenamento ci rende fiacchi e compromette abitualmente la nostra attivit\u00e0, risulta allora fondamentale prestare pi\u00f9 attenzione al sonno e soprattutto dedicargli il giusto spazio all\u2019interno della nostra quotidianit\u00e0. In questo senso<strong> dormire sempre lo stesso numero di ore pu\u00f2 diventare davvero provvidenziale<\/strong> cos\u00ec come andare a riposare alla stessa ora ogni giorno: creare una routine di questo tipo aiuter\u00e0 il corpo a comprendere esattamente quali momenti sono destinati quotidianamente al riposo. In caso contrario ci sentiremo in una perenne situazione di squilibrio simile a quella che potremmo sperimentare con il jet-lag.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Evitare gli allenamenti in ore troppo tarde potr\u00e0 agevolare, infine, il riposo profondo<\/strong>, dal momento che il rilascio di endorfine durante il training ci rende irrequieti e agitati anche nei momenti successivi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Non vi resta quindi che determinare di quante ore di sonno avete bisogno.<\/strong> Fatelo in vacanza, andando a dormire sempre alla stessa ora, senza impostare la sveglia mattutina e risvegliandovi naturalmente, quando il vostro corpo lo chiede.
