Mi serviva una motivazione che mi facesse alzare dal divano per tuffarmi nell\u2019acqua fredda. L\u2019idea della competizione \u00e8 sempre stata un grande stimolo e una valida ragione per diventare costante negli allenamenti quasi come se questi diventassero una medicina per arrivare pi\u00f9 forte al giorno X.<\/p>\n<p>Non saprei per\u00f2 contare il numero delle volte in cui, arrivata sul campo gara, mi sono chiesta: <strong><em>\u201cma cosa ci faccio qui?\u201d<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Credo che moltissimi pensieri affollino la mente dei nuotatori, di qualsiasi livello, dalla vasca dell\u2019allenamento a quella della competizione; spesso si tratta di <strong>riflessioni negative<\/strong> pronte a ricordarci che non stiamo andando avanti, che la nostra tecnica in quello stile \u00e8 mediocre o che la nostra <strong>forma fisica non \u00e8 al top<\/strong>. In quegli istanti il nostro \u201c<strong>mantra<\/strong>\u201d, ovvero il pensiero ripetuto che guida le nostre azioni, diventa qualcosa di negativo pronto a portarci via le energie.<\/p>\n<p>Credo anche, per\u00f2, che la <strong>forza del vero sportivo<\/strong> risieda in gran parte nella capacit\u00e0 di affrontare proprio quei momenti. Lo psicologo dello sport Piero <strong>Trabucchi<\/strong> affermava: \u201c<em>Mantenere la motivazione \u00e8 una disciplina, \u00e8 esercizio, richiede risorse. La motivazione non \u00e8 equiparabile al desiderio; o per lo meno non \u00e8 solo questo. \u00c8 anche abitudine a mantenere il disagio, a sopportare<\/em>\u201d.<br \/>\nNon a caso, ogni qualvolta chiediamo ad un campione quale sia il suo segreto, la risposta fa riferimento in modo diretto o indiretto al sacrificio: quello di <strong>nuotare ogni giorno<\/strong>, di <strong>alzarsi presto<\/strong> al mattino, di <strong>resistere allo stress<\/strong> fisico ecc.<\/p>\n<p>Non esiste una <strong>ricetta<\/strong> uguale per tutti per poter diventare un nuotatore pi\u00f9 forte ma certamente nel caso in cui volessimo raggiungere con determinazione questo obiettivo, il nostro mantra dovr\u00e0 essere guidato dal <strong>pensiero positivo<\/strong>, da frasi che ci ricordino che ce la possiamo fare, che abbiamo tutte le risorse per riuscire e per migliorarci e che, certamente,\u00a0il fallimento o la rinuncia non devono essere un\u2019opzione!<\/p>\n<p>In questo modo, anche se la negativit\u00e0 verr\u00e0 a bussare alla nostra porta, saremo in grado di fronteggiarla con coraggio e rigore.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Molte volte mi sono iscritta alle gare perch\u00e9 avevo bisogno di un nuovo obiettivo.
