Chad proves that you don’t need wings to fly…

Istanbul, Thursday 13th December –  Chad Le Clos  won  the  men’s 100m fly, to become the new World Champion (SC)…  We managed to speak with him following the race, and this is what he had to say…..

“I beat my personal best time by almost a second, so I am really happy… I wanted to go out hard and fast from the beginning, so I did”

Our excellent and rather gorgeous Cristina Cantoni  was  covering the event, and spotted Chad listening to music, prior to his race.. She asked him what he was listening to, and his response was….. “It was a music track that my friend made for me after the London Olympics. It includes race commentary and the sound of the crowd, as well as having a heavy sounding beat”..

Laszlo Cseh collected silver in the men’s 400m Individual Medley.  An excellent result, but passionate Laszlo was not so convinced, commenting “I’m not satisfied with my swim. I planned to swim with a different rhythm, but I didn’t, so I am not happy. My goal was to win”…
