The Dutch swim team are currently in training, at a camp in Phuket, Thailand… As naturally curious people, we wanted to know all the ‘ins & outs’ of the camp, so with the help of Dutch Team Manager, Aad van Groningen, had our questions answered…

According to Doctor Reinier de Groot (team doctor), heavy and intensive training requires good, quality food. It is essential to a good recovery.
Each meal includes a vast choice, of healthy, freshly cooked food, with each swimmer free to choose what he/she fancies.

Breakfast is at 8am (prior to morning work-out), and lunch is served at 12:30. The afternoon training session (5pm-7pm), is followed with a shower and then dinner at 7:30pm…
