A stable head position in backstroke is key to getting the most out of your stroke. I think about my head and spine being my stable center, which my hips and shoulders can rotate around.

Finding a point of focus for my eyes helps me keep a stable head position, allowing for rotation in my body and power in my arms whilst keeping my head and neck relaxed.
